What is the Washtenaw Psychology Society?

WPS is a nonprofit organization that connects psychologists of varied backgrounds, theoretical orientations, and employment settings in southeast Michigan.

We provide opportunities to network with other psychologists and facilitate communication among our members. Within the community of psychologists fostered by WPS, you can become better informed and learn about new professional opportunities. WPS can promote your business interests, while also furthering your professional development.

Here are some of the services you will receive as a member:

Membership Networking

Basic message board for exchanges of information, posing questions regarding professional issues, posting announcements, and making recommendations for services of various kinds.
Premium message board in which members can make and respond to requests for clinical referrals. Members will be permitted to actively promote their practices and can have private discussions about their business interests.
Access to member directory for direct communications.

Events

Continuing Education courses to hone your skills and satisfy re-licensing requirements in a cost-effective manner.
Member-led webinars, seminars, and workshops.
