To protect the integrity of the awards process, please recuse yourself from rating or evaluating any nominee if you:

were the nominee’s thesis advisor (including a member of a committee) or thesis student; or
collaborated on a project, book, article, report or paper within the last 48 months; or
co-edited a journal, compendium, or conference proceedings within the last 24 months; or
are currently work at the same institution as the nominee, or will become a member of that institution in the next 12 months; or
have any other relationship with the nominee that would prevent you from treating the nomination as you would any other nomination.
