Executive Director’s Message

The NARSA/IDEA staff and board of directors want you to know how much we are looking forward to Vision 20/20 on October 2-3, 2020. Virtual conferences are new to our association, and we realize they are not equal to an in person event, but this is the best way for the radiator and diesel emissions community to stay connected. It is human nature to resist change when we think the way we have been conducting business has been advantageous for our professional wants and needs. The last time we had a live event was almost one year ago, and it is important that we connect in some manner to continue to fulfill the mission of our great association.

We have a great schedule of programs, and I would implore all owners and managers to create an opportunity to have your technicians attend the Friday afternoon technical sessions. There will be presentations on tube and bundle heat exchangers and header rebuilding. All attendees who participate in watching these sessions will have the ability to ask questions. There is programming for everyone, but more importantly, businesses can invest in the people that help to make them successful by offering this unique training experience for managers, sales people and technicians.

Members in Action

Whether it’s a special occasion, a big job or behind-the-scenes, we love seeing our members in action! Send us your photos and videos to linda@narsa.org.

Check out this photo from NARSA member Wedige Radiator Automotive (Elkhorn, Wisconsin). You can see all four generations (left to right: Weston, Vince, Dan and Jim Wedige) in this one photo. Jim Wedige started the company back in 1964. Baby Weston Wedige arrived in July 2020.

Pictured here is the team from Don Hart’s Radiator (Houston, TX) installing a new radiator for a generator at a Houston Police station. The technicians did a double removal and installation.

Here’s a recent job from Jim D’s DPF Cleaning Service (Aston, PA). The technician is using an Ultrasonic Flaw Detector to check for any flaws that would be in the filter after cleaning. The filter that is being cleaned is a Cummins DPF.
