- Soularize 2018 will take place at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa near Bernalillo, New Mexico (approximately 30 miles north of Albuquerque).
- All men are welcome, regardless of ethnicity, class, education, sexual orientation, or religious affiliation. No previous attendance at a Men’s Rites of Passage is required.

Everyone yearns for—and needs—a purpose that can be embodied, a meaning that can be lived. Our gathering will help us look at our purpose from a very different vantage point rarely considered: that of the more-than-human world. How can we more fully engage this essential realm of purpose, personally and communally, in the unfolding of the world’s story in this liminal time and space? Noted author, wilderness guide, and depth psychologist, Bill Plotkin, will be our guide on this exciting and challenging journey.
About Bill Plotkin
Bill Plotkin, Ph.D., is a depth psychologist, wilderness guide, and agent of cultural evolution. As founder of western Colorado’s Animas Valley Institute in 1981, he has guided thousands of women and men through nature-based initiatory passages, including a contemporary, Western adaptation of the pan-cultural vision quest. Bill is the author of Soulcraft: Crossing into the Mysteries of Nature and Psyche (an experiential guidebook), Nature and the Human Soul: Cultivating Wholeness and Community in a Fragmented World (a nature-based stage model of human development through the entire lifespan), and Wild Mind: A Field Guide to the Human Psyche (an ecocentric map of the psyche — for healing, growing whole, and cultural transformation). He has a doctorate in psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder.Event Registration
Soularize 2018 registration opens Thursday afternoon, October 18thand the first session starts promptly at 7:00 p.m. Soularize 2018
will end by 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 21.
Event registration for Soularize 2018 is SOLD OUT. Please make plans to join us from October 24-27, 2019 for Soularize 2019. Registration will open in Summer 2019.

The hotel room block at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa is CLOSED. Additional lodging is also available within short driving distance of the Hyatt Regency Tamaya; however, you will need to arrange for your own transportation and no reduced rates have been negotiated.Additional lodging opportunities include:

Cancellation Policy
If you must cancel your registration(s) for Soularize 2018, and you notify Illuman of your cancellation, a $100 cancellation fee will be assessed. The remaining value of your registration fee(s) will be refunded to you.If you choose to transfer your registration to another person, please contact us with that information no later than October 11th. No substitutions or transfers will be accepted after October 11th.
Meals
The following meals will be provided by Illuman as part of the registration fee. We will make our best efforts to accommodate a variety of dietary needs, but please let us know if you have any specific needs.- Friday, October 19 – Breakfast, lunch, dinner
