A Rewilding Journey of Wholeness and Self-Healing
Conducted Via Zoom

Howling at the Moon is an Illuman cohort experience for men who feel called to journey into a life of deep personal work consisting of self-awareness, inner self-healing, the recovery of wholeness, and connection with our deep archetypal selves and awareness of various complexes – all to ultimately manifest the most life-giving relationship with self, others, and the world. Carl Jung called this process, the ‘path to individuation’ – essentially the life-long journey of becoming ‘who you were born to be.’

This is a nine-month deliberate, experiential practice with a cohort of nine like-minded men, that may mark the beginning of such a journey. To facilitate the gathering of men from across the country, meetings and practices will be conducted on Zoom. Our time together will be an immersion into the soul-based ecocentric work of Bill Plotkin (see the book Wild Mind by Bill Plotkin),and depth psychological work of James Hollis (see Finding Meaning in the Second Half of Life by James Hollis) as well as other renowned cultural change agents.

The monthly cohort practices will include:

  • Council and mirror work
  • Group mirror training
  • Solo wilderness/nature wandering (in your own location).
  • Small group work with men in your cohort
  • Individual dreamwork, active imagination, and mirror work with a guide.

The Howling Cohorts is appropriate life work for any man who previously has not had formal inner work training, but who is feeling the strong pull now to be the best human he can possibly be. Your own Howling work may culminate in a Men’s Rite of Passage to ceremonialize your transformation and threshold crossing into a new world view of life – your life – as a consequence.

The next Howling Cohort will begin in January, 2023, and end with an in-person cohort gathering at Soularize of same year.

Cost is $375 with sliding scale.
